Grub2 installation error

Post by jaypott12 » Sat Jun 23, 2018 11:19 pm

I have seen other posts about grub errors during installation but they all seem to be different. I have an HP pavilion x360 11m-ad013x and I am trying to install linux mint from a usb. I can boot into a live session but when I try to permanently install mint the installation process just stops at grub2. It gives this message but doesn't do anything just sit there.

Code: Select all

/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/gtk_components/nmwidgets.py:131: Warning: Source ID 362 was not found when attempting to remove it
GLib.source_remove(self.rows_changed_id)

I don't have RAID, and I am not dual booting. I tried to install Ubuntu previously and erased the disk so I don't have Windows 10 anymore. I also booted using BIOS and UEFI and nothing has worked. Hopefully there is something I can do. My full pc specs:
