Mint 19 v2

Post by oxygenfarm » Sat Jul 21, 2018 1:11 pm

Is it necessary to reinstall this over v1 or do the updates cover the issues? As I remember the V2 was a nasty rocket bomb in WWII.

no V2 is to replace the first versions, the first ones were kinda broken .

AMD FX-4350 (4.2gHz)
MSI GeForce GT730 - 2gb Memory
Linux Mint 19 MATE amd64/ Kernel 4.15.0-30

Nothing is ever wrong with clean installs, but if you already have a successful Mint 19 install there is no reason at all to install again. The V2 release became necessary to fix installation problems, that's all.
