Mint 19 Mate, separate partition, freeze on boot

Post by jazz.h »

Hi!
I have ssd with 4 partitions, sdb1 is Mint 17.3, sdb2 is Win10, sdb3 is swap, sdb4 is Mint 19 Mate 64bit.
First I ran live usb disk, everything was fine. I installed Mint19 in sdb4 choosing custom, as I always do, with mountpoint "/" in sdb4. After restart grub is OK (all 3 OSs) but after choosing Mint19 from sdb4 booting freezes with the logo repeating!
When I restart and boot in old Mint17.3 from sdb1 and look at the logs from Mint19 /var/log/boot.log I see a lot of lines

Stopped Network Name Resolution.

and the last line is

Started D-Bus System Message Bus.

Intel G530 cpu, 8gb of ram, integrated graphics card, lan network connection.

Any help would be appreciated... :D
