I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I have an HP DC5800 with LM 17.3 Rosa (xfce) on it and wanted to try LM 19. I ordered a DVD from OSDISC.com because my computer just has a DVD reader in it. Anyway, when I try to boot the live DVD I keep getting an error that says kernel panic - not syncing and then on the next line end kernel panic and the boot process stops there. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to work. Here are my computer specs:
HP DC5800
4 GB RAM
80 GB Seagate hard drive
Onboard video (i've tried other vid cards too with no luck), sound, etc.
Hope someone out there know what is going on and can help me fix it.
Thanks in advance everyone.

Please post the output of this terminal command from within Mint 17:
