I have Roza 17.3 in dual boot with Windows 8.1 on Lenovo G50. Since the support for Rosa is going to discontinue in 2019, I would like to upgrade Rosa while keeping Windows 8.1.
Would the last Mint release be suitable for my Lenovo G50? Is it better to update or make a new installation?
Would you please advise me on the best upgrade strategy in this case.
Regards.

From my experience, yes, fresh install.
