partizionare HD con mint 19 cinnamon tara 64 bit

buona sera a tutti, ho un problema relativo alla partizione dell' HD . dopo aver installato linux mint 19 cinnamon tara formattando il disco con le precedenti: windows 7 e linux mint 17 cinnamon rose, ho ottenuto in automatico due partizioni:
/dev/sda1 EFI Sistem partition Fat32 /boot/efi
/dev/sda2 mint 19 ext4 /
più una piccola non allocata di 1.02 Mib.
a questo punto ho tentato di creare una partizione dati come avevo in precedenza, ntfs, ma con GParted non riesco a farlo anzi sda2 non riesco nemmeno a smontarla perchè mi da questo messaggio # umount -v '/' umount: /: target is busy.
E' evidente la mia scarsa preparazione, chiedo quindi se qualcuno di voi può aiutarmi nella partizione senza che io faccia qualche altro pasticcio.

I hope Google can translate this to Italian well enough:
Are you trying to create a partition using live USB or while you're already in LM19?
If you're accessing gparted through LM19, the partition will be busy. If you wish to shrink / partition while in LM19, try using Disks utility.
I'd prefer managing partitions through live usb though.

thanks N3wb, my english is not so good but I've understood what You mean.
So I'll have to prepare a live USB to modify the partition. I hope is the same using a live dvd.
I'll accept any other suggestions.
In any case I tried to unmount the sda2 partitition . No way, impossible to unmount it.

Ho tentato la modifica alle partizioni con live USB linuxmint 18.3, non funziona mi da errore con questa descrizione iniziale: the driver descriptor says: the phisical block size is 2048 bites, but linux says it is 512 bite.
qualche idea?
