I was away from my notebook for a while with running game via Wine. When I came back, the notebook awaked but the login window was not displayed (laptop seemed freezed). I pressed and hold power button to reset. When I turn notebook on, the login window displayed correctly but when I typed login data and pressed enter, the text mode displayed with this communicate:
Code: Select all
[49.109977] nouveau 0000:04:00.0: bus: MMIO read of 00000000 FAULT at 085048 [ IBUS ]
Meanwhile, between pressing enter in graphic mode and displaying text mode, another communicate blinks for a fraction of a second. I tried to shot a photo of it and the communicate is:
Code: Select all
*speech-dispatcher disabled; edit /etc/default/speech-dispacher
Starting VirtualBox kernelmodules ...failed!
(modprobe vboxdrv failed. Please use 'dmesg' to find out why)
*VirtualBox Additions disabled, not in a Virtual Machine
*Loading WebcamStudio kernel modules
*No suitable WebcamStudio modules for the running kernel found
saned disabled; edit /etc/default/saned
*Restoring resolver state...
My notebook isn't a virtual machine. I can login in text mode. It seems like some graphic settings crashed because of notebook reset while running Wine. How can I repair it? My system is Linux Mint 17.3 with Cinnamon.
