I have an Intel NUC8i7HVK with Intel Core i7-8809G and AMD Vega [Radeon RX Vega M,
and the only way I can boot to a live Mint USB-stick or install Mint is in compability mode.
I have no problem with older HW.
After installation I also have to start Mint in compability mode otherwise I this message:
"(5.906296) mmc0: Unknown controller version (3). You may experiance problem."
I get the same result with Mint 19 and 19.1 beta.
I thought it had to do with the kernell und updated to 4.19, but it made no difference.
When I do the same with Ubuntu 18.10 everything is working super.
