Hi, I've decided to install linux on my Dell Inspiron 5577. I completely deleted Windows. I've tried ubuntu first. It didn't boot. I was able to boot it in recovery mode. There were errors like :
• ACPI Error Method parse/execution failed
• Watchdog bug soft lockup CPU#0 (or #1, #2, #3) stuck for 23s
I've tried to replace the word "quiet" in the grub config with "nomodeset quiet splash", it didn't work. I've also tried to boot it in legacy mode. It didn't work. So I've deleted Ubuntu to put Mint instead. Same things happened.
Can someone help me with this?
