I have cloned a hdd of my pc to put in a laptop using clonezilla. The drive is not recognised by the hardware. Source and destination hardwares are both on legacy boot. I managed to boot the new system with Super Grub2 Disk so I could repair grub. Ran:
grub-install /dev/sda
which completed without errors, but system still does not recognise the drive.
Grub install no success

After the grub install, you have to run:
Code: Select all
sudo update-grub
Linux Mint 20.3 (Cinnamon)
Linux Mint 19.3 (Cinnamon)
Bodhi Linux 6.0 (MokshaArcGreen)
Fedora 35 (Cinnamon)

Re: Grub install no success
Thanks.
New problem. Since switching off the pc Super Grub2 Disk no longer finds anything to boot too when I switch on again. Any ideas?
