Changing boot order when boot protocol is not selectable

Post by dma001 »

I have a Lenovo C20 Think Station with Windows 10 Pro and want to set up Linux Mint as an alternative OS. For some reason I am unable to change the boot sequence to boot from the DVD so that I can install Linux. The bios menu indicates that the boot protocol is not selectable. It is currently set to "Preboot Execution Environment" which cannot be changed.

I have installed Linux on many other machines but this has me fooled. Can anyone help?

Perhaps I should add that the computer is booting through a Broadcom NetExtreme Ethrnet Boot Agent v11.4.1 and the none selectable boot protocol is in the MBA Configuration menu.
