Remotely run mintupgrade (18.3->19) over SSH?

Post by boekhold » Tue Sep 10, 2019 2:11 am

Hi all,

Is it theoretically possible to run mintupgrade over an SSH connection on a remote computer? From 18.3 to 19. "mintupgrade check" passes, but I'm worried the upgrade will kill the SSH session and abort...

Mintupgrade check works. So I feel it should work over ssh since the upgrade works. But I never tried it myself. Best would be to backup your system first and then run the upgrade, so that in case of any problems you can roll back.
