Strange error during access

Post by kluanna96 »

Good evening, I need your help about one thing happened today. During the access to my account in Linux Mint (it's the last version that I installed a few week ago), my desktop look like this :
All the desktop black, with a message of error " Continuare veramente?" that in English is : Do you really want to continue?". And an exclamation point in a red circle. I didn't find nothing on the Internet. Linux seems to work very well now, but every time i restart my PC I have this message
help me
Thank you

L.

I even have never seen that, but is there not any thing of help in one of the log-files... at least something?
Not sure where it hapens, but i.e. boot.log or one of the windowmanager-logs?

All the desktop black, with a message of error " Continuare veramente?"
"Really continue?" is merely the question whether you want to continue although a serious error has occurred.
The real question is: What precisely is the error message preceeding the question " Continuare veramente?"

What happens next, after you have replied "yes" to the question whether you want to continue? - Do you spot the Linux Mint startup logo perhaps?

The only thing I can think of is a problem with th filesystem.

Maybe badly closed/turned of the systen? does it heppen each reboot ?

A quick scan of files related to the boot time, shows the message in a lot of filesystem related executables.....
So I would do a filesystemcheck. check at boot : touch /forcefsck
