Hello!
After 2 years my Mint instalation got crowded, I'm thinking of enalrging boot (sda2) and home partition (sda3) and shrink (from left) win10 ntfs partition (sda5). Is it doable, from live usb gparted? Grub has to be refreshed afterwards?

This will take some time!

I would boot win and use its disk management tools to shrink sda5 (you can use gparted, but I think, without evidence, that it is safer this way).

Then, using gparted, you will have to:
  • move the smaller sda5 to the end of the disk
  • move your swap partition to the right
  • increase the size of of sda3 and then move it right
  • increase the size of sda2.
You will need to run gparted from your 'live usb' as you cannot change mounted filesystems (your / and /home partitions). The symbol to the right of /dev/sda1 - 3 is telling you the partitions are locked and cannot be changed.

You should not have to make any changes to grub.

Take an image backup before you start.
