Hi there,
my system is overheating when I run Mint. I start from USB and I can't even install the system as after a few minutes the system does shut down due to too high temperature. I've tried running the Nvidia driver as soon I start from USB but that does not work either.

My config:
Asus Prime X399-A
Ryzen TR 1920X
2 X Asus GeForce RTX 2080 TI
32 GB Ram
SSD drives

I currently run Windows 10 pro with no issues but I would like to switch to Linux for my work OS.

Quick update:
I had another go with it and I found out that the GPU's are heating up to +85C and stop working. The CPU also runs quite hot and the fans are not getting faster.. So it seems the fan control is not working on both CPU and GPU.

Another update:
It's only the GPU's fan which stops as soon Mint starts. I've tried to load the Nvidia driver and run the nvidia-settings command but it tells me that there no Nvidia driver loaded... and after that, the GPU's are already at 85C and the system stops.

I don't know how I can activate the fans on the live system so I can install it?!?
