problem : Linux Mint 19.3

Post by lilikoo »

Hello ,

last night i did low level formatting of my internal hard drive
then this morning I installed by usb key:
- Linux Mint 19.3 (Cinnamon 64 bit)
once the installation is done the computer restarts
but nothing happens, black screen?

Where can it come from please?

Thank you so much .

P.S : Hoping to get help because I'm at the computer or there is a problem

You need the section titled Solving freezes during the boot sequence. It would also be beneficial if you read http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=83444
It's pronounced kad-eye-cha, not kada-itcha.

What would a low level format be?
This option has not existed in machine setup for decades.
Even if it existed it would not work on modern discs.

Let's see what has been recorded on that disc.
Command exit post:
sudo parted -l
