[SOLVED] PPA's & Additional Properties Missing after L' 20 Upgrade

Post by Davent »

I have Upgraded from Linux 19.3 to 20 and when I look at the edit software sources, the PPA's & Additional Properties are Blank and missing. Does anyone know what may have gone wrong. When I look at my Authentication Keys, there are a load of them there, but they do not appear to be authenticating anything. Can anyone advise please?

Nothing went wrong. This is intended behaviour.

Not every PPA that supported Mint 19 supports Mint 20. So it not possible to include then when upgrading. The authentication keys are still there because they are backed up during the upgrade process but not restored.

They are saved in a folder called Upgrade-Backup-tricia
Easy to put back. Those with 'bionic' specified I changed to 'focal'.
