Trying to do clean Minto 20 from USB

Post by psventek »

Have a dual screen Powerspec G314 which successfully had (emphasize the word 'had') Windows 10 and Mint 19.3 on it. Wanted to go pure Mint 20 so installed from USB. When I tried to boot after install, both screens were live. I entered my password, and after that, both screens went dead, nothing else happens. I can reboot with the USB and go into Compatibility Mode which is where I am now. Any suggestions on how I can get this machine back duel screen or have I bricked it?

Your devices are most likely not bricked.

There is a magic trick to get your favorites up and running again: enter inxi -Fxz in the terminal - publish the result here in the Mint Forums and wait for all the good spirits ...

Not the first with monitor issues and LM20. Now is the time to ask if you have a timeshift snapshot of LM19.3?
