Re: ACPI errors and graphics card drivers issues
Looks similar to my issue: viewtopic.php?p=1869192#p1869192. Did you find a solution? If you do, please let me know...

Re: ACPI errors and graphics card drivers issues
The problem is finally solved.
You had to first create a xorg.conf file by opening NVIDIA X Server Settings and go to the "X Server Display Configuration" menu and click on the "Save to X Configuration File" button. With this step, the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf is created.
I had misunderstood before because the file already existed as such but in fact it was empty and modifying it by following the steps already mentioned above in the thread was useless.
Then I edited the file with this command :
and added these lines in the section "Files"...
Now the Nvidia driver loads at boot time with a few more seconds.
Thanks, guys, for the tips.
The ACPI errors are still there but as Pjotr said, they seem harmless.

Re: [SOLVED] ACPI errors and graphics card drivers issues
If I do that, my system doesn't boot at all anymore. It shows a black screen with a cursor just after the Mint logo appears. I had to re-enable "Secure Boot" (which I disabled to get the NVIDIA driver to work) to get my system to boot, remove the "xorg.conf" file and disable Secure Boot again.
Re: ACPI errors and graphics card drivers issues
Great news! Thanks for the additional clarifying information in how you resolved it..
