Cinnamon Linux 19.3 No Longer Booting

Post by LeSpy75 »

Hello everyone,
I'm a beginner Linux user. I've been using Linux Mint for several months without a hitch on a dual boot system with WIndows 10. Not using Windows much anymore.

The system will no longer boot into Linux, after choosing Linux in the menu, I get a black screen and booting stops with this message:

1.178425 ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\SB.UBTC.RUCC], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190816/psargs-330)
1.178439 ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB.HS04._PLD due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20190816/psparse-531)
1.180788 ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\SB.UBTC.RUCC], AE_NOT_FOUND (20190816/psargs-330)
1.180795 ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PCI0.XHC.RHUB.HS04._PLD due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20190816/psparse-531)

I then tried running it in recovery mode in all available versions to me and each time the start up would hang with a black screen as well with lots of lines that I can't paste into here but there are 5 rows that state there is a hardware error with addresses after them like 00000bc0: fffffff ffffff ffffff ffffff....

Please help.

Let me know if you need more info.

Thanks
