I suppose there must be a way to check the hdd for possible failure, but not sure how. Seems to me I did it once, but can't recall how I did it. Anyway, my hdd was fine, so never did find the cause of my initramfs problem.
this is not a chat, is a forum of people looking for real working solutions or fixes for problems. you're not a good helper.
don't waste our time please.

sleeper12 is a regular here, as am I, and while the response you got was seemingly unhelpful, sleeper12 was in fact trying to encourage you to provide more detail. The problem now is that attacking one regular like you have generally has the effect of other regulars leaving you to sort it out yourself.
more and more lines....
its seems like you don't have at least knowledge of the issue, no fixing solution or real help yet.
please, leave it to the ones who can answer and don't waste my time and the others who read looking for help here in this forum and no more of your chat.
later in time will be thousands of lines of chats and no solutions. what kind of people are you? life's short, can waste it with incorrect people.

Sounds like your hard drive is failing. If so, the only solution will be to replace it.
If you don't have data files backups, make them before doing anything else.

Hi! Your friendly moderator here...
In your own best interest: if you want help, I recommend that you follow the forum rules and give people the information they are asking for, not the kind of attitude you are giving them. You are making it less and less likely that someone will be able and willing to help you. Thus, wasting your own time as well as that of others.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
life is short, i accept the attitude was not the best of me but im correct, imagine how many lines you have to read to solve a problem?
imagine how much time you want to spend waiting in a restaurant?, repairing a vehicle? the list is endless.
until this moment there is no solution response.
its an old laptop, old specs (in the signature section below) the cpu, hdd 120GB, 1GB memory. 32-bit, 19.3 linux can't install the 20 version. other partition with ldme 4 waiting the version 5 with at least libreoffice community 7.1 integrated.
important: was working normal some months until now, it is not the specs ok.
please, if someone knows how to solve the problem, only you respond.

If you don't have time to read, know that here people offer advise without any gain for them typing and thought requires more time than reading. I am out.

If I have helped you solve a problem, please add [SOLVED] to your first post title, it helps other users looking for help.

If I'm not mistaken the now deleted post by JOPETA also already said to check SMART values; sudo apt-get install smartmontools and sudo smartctl -A /dev/sda. Especially attributes 1 and 5. Nonzero RAW value for 5 signals a dying HDD; for 1 tends to signal either that or a wobbly connector. The issue more often though is bad memory or a seating issue of such; filesystem structures getting corrupted in memory and being synced to disk in said corrupted state. As such a memtest run is very much advised as the first step; IIRC it's available from the Grub menu for a standard 19.x install. Would also catch e.g. a power supply issue: you may have blown a cap in that 14 year old system.
Note by the way that at least my own comment as to this being an old system was not commenting on specs as much as it was on you. It specifically makes it fairly likely that rather than an adorably arrogant 18-year old you're one's average annoyingly arrogant elderly citizen demanding respect seemingly for no other reason than not having died yet, all the while ignoring that the best method of not doing such has for quite some time now not been competence fighting off lions but sitting on your ass for years on end.
Take a look here. I had the same issue, made sure disk was not failing, tried different disks, and it turned out to be a kernel issue. You can edit GRUB to automate the fsck at boot time: viewtopic.php?f=46&t=337475
