Not like that, no.
For a start, can you please post your system information? This can be found in the system reports application, on the tab system information. You can copy it from there and paste it into your next post.
This information is needed for pretty much any question about your system, so it's a good habit to post it straight away.

If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!

Please give us information about your install by entering this command in a terminal:

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxpmrz
Click </> from the mini toolbar above the textbox where you type your reply
and then place your cursor between the code markers and paste the results of the
command between the code markers like this:
Results
.

Do the same for:

Code: Select all

systemd-analyze

Code: Select all

systemd-analyze blame

Code: Select all

systemd-analyze critical-chain

Code: Select all

cat /var/log/boot.log

                            └─systemd-journald.socket @3.725s
I don't understand this. Where did 1 minute 30 seconds disappear? Anybody have any ideas?

Code: Select all

[ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device /dev/disk/by-uuid/941fef68-57c2-4740-9193-29cbb6962485.
I wonder if this timeout could take a minute?

Code: Select all

Drives:
Local Storage: total: 2.27 TiB used: 513.96 GiB (22.1%)
  ID-1: /dev/sda vendor: Western Digital model: WD20EARX-008FB0

  ID-2: /boot/efi size: 511.0 MiB used: 7.8 MiB (1.5%) fs: vfat
  dev: /dev/sda1
This looks weird. No partitions for the /dev/sdb hard disk? So it doesn't get mounted? Is it an external/USB drive or something?
What about /dev/sda1? It should say something like ID-3:
With the above timeout my suspicion is that this drive is not getting mounted and timing out. Show us

Right, so it looks like this is not getting mounted:

Code: Select all

UUID=941fef68-57c2-4740-9193-29cbb6962485  /media/data  ext4   defaults   0   2

Code: Select all

sdb 8:16 0 465.8G 0 disk
└─sdb1 8:17 0 465.8G 0 part <- there should be a mount point here
Not sure why. It's a good idea to check it for errors:

Code: Select all

fsck /dev/sdb1
Maybe you can try modifying it like this and rebooting:

Code: Select all

/dev/sdb1 /media/data ext4 defaults 0 0
Other than that, maybe double-check the power and data cables attached to that disk.

Here's the result of fsck command...

Code: Select all

yang@yang-System-Product-Name:~$ sudo fsck /dev/sdb1
[sudo] Mot de passe de yang :
fsck de util-linux 2.34
e2fsck 1.45.5 (07-Jan-2020)
/dev/sdb1 : propre, 761233/30531584 fichiers, 115142946/122096384 blocs
This second disk is not mounted on boot, but I can mount it with no problem when I want to backup my main HD(timeshift).

Should I try anyway to modify the boot as you suggested? /dev/sdb1 /media/data ext4 defaults 0 0

If you don't normally mount it on boot, then comment-out that line with a # in /etc/fstab and see if your boot time improves.

/etc/fstab is a text file and you need to edit it.

Code: Select all

xed admin:///etc/fstab
Change this line:

Code: Select all

UUID=941fef68-57c2-4740-9193-29cbb6962485  /media/data  ext4   defaults   0   2
to this:

Code: Select all

#UUID=941fef68-57c2-4740-9193-29cbb6962485 /media/data ext4 defaults 0 2
Then save the file, close the editor, reboot, re-run systemd-analyze.

Is this drive always plugged in to the PC? Is it an external drive? Is it USB? Is it plugged in to a power source constantly? Or do you plug-in the power only when you use it?

Much faster, thank you.
My drive is internal, always plugged but just used for some backups.

Here's the systemd analyse

Code: Select all

yang@yang-System-Product-Name:~$ systemd-analyze
