Errors during boot on Yoga 12
When I boot into linux mint on my Lenovo Yoga 12 I get two errors:
"Error: font: glyphs too large to fit on screen."
"[0.076552] DMAR: [Firmware Bug]: No firmware reserved region can cover this RMRR [0x00000000cdB00000-0x00000000cfffffff], contact BIOS vendor for fixes"
Not sure how to fix both errors.
Thanks in advance for anyone has a solution.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
Welcome to the forum, Linuxgamer0123.
Could you explain what problem you are having using Mint?
Messages on the screen are messages and not necessarily problems. For example, the second one you posted says right in the message to "contact BIOS vendor for fixes". That means a BIOS/UEFI update is the way to fix the issue and if your computer's manufacturer does not release an update to address it, then the message will continue to show.
As far as the first error about glyphs, you have not provided any information about how Mint sees your hardware as explained in Section 5 of READ: How To Get Help!. Please provide that system data and an explanation of the problem you are experiencing due to glyph size.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
First thing when I turn on my laptop I see is "Error: font: glyphs too large to fit on screen."
Yoga 12 is updated to latest bios already.
This error appeared after I updated the lastest kernal through Update manager.
"[0.076552] DMAR: [Firmware Bug]: No firmware reserved region can cover this RMRR [0x00000000cdB00000-0x00000000cfffffff], contact BIOS vendor for fixes"

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
When you first turn on the computer, the BIOS/UEFI runs and then after that grub runs to start the operating system. Linux Mint does not have control of your computer's BIOS/UEFI, so if it really happens "first thing" then the issue may not be related to Mint.Linuxgamer0123 wrote: ⤴Wed Jun 09, 2021 3:41 pmFirst thing when I turn on my laptop I see is "Error: font: glyphs too large to fit on screen."
I already explained to you that the log line means exactly what it says. The Linux kernel found an issue with your computer's BIOS/UEFI and the only way to fix it would be through a BIOS update. The Linux kernel does not make any changes to a computer's BIOS. The Linux kernel only lets you know when it finds issues with the BIOS.Linuxgamer0123 wrote: ⤴Wed Jun 09, 2021 3:41 pmYoga 12 is updated to latest bios already.

Your computer's BIOS is controlled by Lenovo. It is possible Lenovo does not care if the BIOS meets the normal specs that the Linux kernel looks for. That means you should just ignore this message if you already have the latest BIOS.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
Do you still face any problems running Mint? If not the on screen errors may be neglected.
If I have helped you solve a problem, please add [SOLVED] to your first post title, it helps other users looking for help.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
When in the boot process does this error appear? Is it before or after the login screen?Linuxgamer0123 wrote: ⤴Fri Jun 11, 2021 9:56 pmStill can't figure out how to fix "Error: font: glyphs too large to fit on screen." when I boot to linux mint.
This is a of the error above.
Are you having any problems with Mint not loading on your computer (is anything to big and you have to scroll or is something not showing on the screen that should be)?

Before the login screen. It started appeared on the newest update of linux mint.
No problems when using Linux mint.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
Everyone updates at different times, so I do not know what the "newest update" might be. It's possible it relates to a package you have installed that others may not have installed? I do not have any ideas what may be causing it.Linuxgamer0123 wrote: ⤴Sat Jun 12, 2021 3:32 pm Before the login screen. It started appeared on the newest update of linux mint.

Re: Errors during boot on Yoga 12
Increased the resolution under GRUB_GFXMODE=640x480 to native resolution of my laptop screen 1920x1080 in sudo gedit /etc/default/grub to get rid of the "Error: font: glyphs too large to fit on screen."
