Linux mint 20.1. I am installing on a clean hard drive. I have made the bootable cd which opens the temporary linux system with the install linux on the desktop. I double click on the install which starts the spinning circle for a few seconds then stops. I have also tried this on a hard drive with the linux operating system already on it. the desktop opens and the installation icon is there. When I click on the installation icon it just opens the folder. I have installed linux on several computers before but never had this problem before.
