boot up problemo

installed cinnamon on an hhd thru laptop. checked on laptop if its working first = it does. connected it to an old pc and it worked. but when it shut the pc down and turned it on again, this message suddenly showed up :( can anyone help me with this?

I am getting the same issue. I rolled back with TimeShift and I think it may have something to do with the update to intramfs-tools. The same update group included Kernel 4.15.0-151.157. The system rebooted fine after all the updates were added, but an "autoremove" command to clean things up, seems to be where it broke.

the only change(or new thing) i ever did to the usual would be to plug an encrypted usb from windows, not knowing that linux does not accept it hehe :lol: maybe a bug from that caused it? im noob af in this techy world.

I used to do this. It isn't 100% fool-proof, but it usually works.

You should fix your boot problem before messing with BitLocker.
