Linux won't boot after I press restart

Every time I press restart Linux won't boot and will show me a black screen I'm new to Linux and I don't know anything or how to fix it
I had to shut down my laptop multiple times to get Linux to boot
I don't know what is the problem or how to fix it can anyone help me please

Does the machine boot if you do a cold boot? (Start with machine turned off)

If yes, please post an inxi -Fxpmzr report. This will give us a concise overview of your hardware and how Mint sees it per  How to get help .

Here is how to generate the report and post it:

Open a terminal window (Ctrl-Alt-t). Make it fullscreen to avoid unneeded linebreaks or chopped lines. Copy the following code and paste into the terminal (Ctrl-Shft-V) then hit Enter/Return:

Go to Edit, Select All, and then Copy, come back here, click on reply then code tags, </>, and then paste.
