I'm afraid that doesn't really make any sense. Are you asking how to remove a user account?

Sorry for not provide relevant information.
The issues comes just after the Mint logo apprears and before the NVidia logo appears.
It is a "teminal" screen and cursor can't be moved freely around .... I think it started after Mint ask me to do some OEM setup which I skip

Ah, I get you. Thanks for clarifying.
I set up a virtual machine with the Cinnamon edition of the version you said you tried. I went through the OEM procedure, then installed it. I never even had the chance to "skip" anything, so I'm confused as to what you mean. How did you skip it? When did you skip it? I did see a Skip button come up, but it was greyed out the whole time, so I couldn't click it.
Unless the user part of an OEM install is different in each desktop environment (IE: Cinnamon).
