Hiya, 17.3 XFCE is still working. But I thought I should upgrade. So I tried 19.2, someone recommended it in a forum since my laptop has Pentium M, and is a Compaq NX5000 from around 2005. I made the USB, tried to install, and saw the menu. I did not install it though. Then, I shut down, and tried later when I had more time. But this time the menu didn't appear and I got a message that "Warning PAE disabled. use parameter "forcepae" to enable. Unable to boot please use a kernel appropriate for your CPU"
I'm thinking to stay with 17.3, but curious whether I should try to make the USB again maybe and get 19.2 installed. Please advise.

Re: 19.2 XFCE Installation problem
Mint 17.3 is no longer supported, so you really should upgrade. Try a live session of 19.2 Xfce before you install it just to be sure everything works on that old machine.
