after turning the laptop into sleep mode, when trying to resume from sleep mode by pressing the power button, nothing happens (not even the power LED blinks). Even by pressing other buttons or pressing many times the power button, nothing happens. Only if I press the power button longer than 5 seconds and then press it again, the system starts again. However, it boots from scratch and doesn't resume from sleep.
I tried upgrading and downgrading many kernels but this doesn't solve the problem. I also updated the BIOS to the latest version available (F08) and this doesn't solve the problem.
I run Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3 on a HP Envy with AMD processor and graphics. I paste the output of the "inxi -Fxxxrz" command:

For the sake of more background information: I installed Linux Mint Cinnamon on a brand-new laptop. First I tried installing 21.1 but the installation was freezing and there seemed to be video problems. Then I tried 21.0 and I had similar problems. Then I tried 20.3 and the problems disappeared but Wi-Fi was not working. Then I tried 20.3 Edge and still had video problems, then I downgraded the kernel from 15.x to 13.0-52 and I manage to solve both video and Wi-Fi problems. However, unfortunately I have still the sleep problem above.
Many thanks for any help!!
