21.1 crashes on install Toshiba p875-s7200
I have a Toshiba P875-S7200, a new WD 1TB hard drive, a clean verified copy of Linux Mint 21.1 (on a USB stick) ... It installs up to the point of "installing system files" then crashes... with "Installed crashed" and says I can file a bug report after closing window but no bug reporting tools are available... There ARE files and directories written to the hard drive...so the computer can write to the hd ... It looks like it might be failing writing the boot sector... Also where is the bug reporting tool/program and where is the crash report stored? I have been using Linux (Ubuntu versions) for years but I'm lost on this one... Any help will be GREATLY appreciated... Dave
