MacBookAir7,2 Right button of Touchpad not working!!!

Post by emanueltlc »

Hi all,

I moved from Linux Mint 19 to Linux Mint 21. Now the right button of the touchpad does not work. I tried to fix the problem by Google without results. Can you help me somehow?

No expert on touchpads here but I can see there's no useful system info there at all, copy/paste the text output of inxi -Fxxxrz run in the terminal.

It appears you did not type the correct command. Here is another way to provide the information. Open the System Reports app and click the System Information tab on the left. Your computer's information should come up in the right pane. Then click Copy, and paste the results into a reply window here so we can see how Linux Mint views your hardware.

Also, I moved your topic to Hardware Support because this is not an Installation & Boot issue.

I am not familiar with how Apple touchpads work, but I have added "MacBookAir7,2" to your title and hopefully someone who is familiar with them can provide some ideas of what may be happening.
