Mint LXDE - wrong screen resolution during boot. [SOLVED]

Post by fernbap » Mon Apr 26, 2010 2:03 pm

Installed Mint LXDE on an old AMD Duron 1200. Installed perfectly, works like a charm! Very responsive and fast.
My only issue is that, during boot, Mint sets a screen resolution that the display doesn't support, although the resolution it sets when it reaches the desktop (1280x1024) is the correct one.
Is there a way to set the resolution during boot or, alternatively, to keep it in text mode?

If you install startupmanager

Code: Select all

apt install startupmanager
you can change the usplash resolution using a dropdown list.
[Edit] your original post and add [SOLVED] once your question is resolved.
