Disk Partition Options

Postby Zabadda » Wed May 19, 2010 12:52 pm

Im trying to install Mint 9 on my Windows 7 machine as a dual boot, when i get to the partition disk options there is only "Erase entire disk" or Manual disk partitioning" where has "install side by side" gone? im not too confident doing a manual partition. Is the side by side option just an Ubuntu feature?

Try rebooting to Windows and defragging the partitions and running chkdsk /f.
