start up time is looong

Post by huntsman »

hello , so i recently installed the mint 9 isadora and everything feels nice and smooth.

Also i am dual booting it i have xp and mint i dont know if thats the problem but in mint it takes a long time to start up. while it restarts fast and boots up fast then i enter my pass and then it drags and takes a long time to start everthing up. takes a long time to change the background, theme and to display the icons on the desktop, so then i changed the theme and walpaper to default and its still the same, it drags to start up. Has anyone else experienced this ?? If so can some one help me , and thanks.

Floppy-drive may hangs up in bios, so you have to disable it .. :D
