Pre-install Welcome Screen

Post by gimcrack »

I have a question. While during the installation progress, I have a choice for auto-login, Time Zone, User name & Password. Well I like to sale a pre-install Linux Mint 10, with all the bells & whistles I just install over the defaults. Can I bring that welcome screen back after a installment of Linux Mint 10? or make my own welcome screen in a bash script? Because it would be nice to have. So the new user, can set-up if he or she like to have auto-login, set there preference of user name & password. Even changing there Time Zone. I know there are ways to do this all manually. But, it would be nice to have it all in one little package set-up for a pre-install Linux Mint 10 for a new owner.

You would want to download the OEM version then. Its on the downloads page.

Just pick 32-bit or 64-bit and off you go.

There is only a Gnome version, so if you prefer a different version you are out of luck.
