I would suggest that you make the heading slightly more informative. Something like "Issue with default password on Mint 11 Live DVD" would give people a better idea of what to expect. The more information you give people (within reason) the more likely you are to get a satisfactory reply. :mrgreen:

You can open the installer, and there choose a language and keyboard layout.

As soon as Mint is installed, it will use that settings.
A Live DVD of Mint is always English + USA keyboard; when Mint is installed it can use every language and keyboard layout.
