The torrents.linuxmint.com site could use a little sprucing up now that #17 LTS Qiana Cinnamon has passed technical tests and its release is imminent. For instance, the latest versions could be at the front rather than page 15 or something.

Although the vast majority will find their torrent links elsewhere quite a few will anyhow and up in torrents.linuxmint.com.

Old Threads: It is 'best' to start another Thread.

Posting in old threads, or "necrobumping" is generally discouraged in the technical issue subforums, since it can potentially create disjointed "zombie" information; outdated posts with data which is no longer relevant due to LinuxMint 'future' updates, combined with more recent posts reflecting more current circumstance.

Furthermore, technical support threads should remain succinct, and multiple pages are to be avoided if possible.

Do your part to keep the forums tidy. :D

Who "necrobumped" (thanks for that mental image) and what is out of date of pointing out that torrents are a good way of distributing high volume "downloads"? Perhaps people have posted occasional messages about torrent issues here because they didn't want to start another new one or there was no officially sanctified thread for them?

But sorry about all the fluff and "me toos". Maybe just mark read-only the threads that are considered no good.
