Inkscape Theme for Linux Mint xfce 20.1

Post by Leduin »

I have trouble changing the Inkscape 0.92.1 theme in Edit > Preferences > Interfaces. There is no Themes option. Can any tell me what I should do?

I don't have the Theme option in Cinnamon either. It's safe to assume Inkscape does not have Theme support at this point. Did you use some other version of Inkscape somewhere else (e.g. Windows) that had Theme option? Why did you expect it to have Themes?

Inkscape 0.92 drove me crazy ... I now have the AppImage of 1.0.2 running and that works better in many respects - including changing the loaded themes.
On my Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.0 with Mint-Y-Dark I use the Mint-X setting. The dark theme is completely nonsense in Inkscape.

Only the rulers and the grid in the metric system ... it is and remains idiotic (and also the main reason why I use Inkscape very rarely).
