Disable Google personalized search in Firefox

Postby langriss » Tue Mar 04, 2008 4:02 pm

I've updated my distro and a Firefox update came along, but now whenever I search something via the Firefox Google textbox I land in a Google Personalized Search page, instead of the plain old Google page that I used to see. I wouldn't mind the change, if the results were identical - they aren't. :x

Does somebody knows how to disable this? :|

You don't, this is a major source of income for the Mint team. You could just install the Google toolbar though, but I would recommend supporting Mint :)

No problem, and I agree, "ordinary" Google gives more results, but I still use the addon, if I need to I use ordinary Google (usually for News).
