Urgent help required for non-profit organisation

Post by kyle7042 » Thu May 17, 2012 6:09 pm

I run a non profit organisation http://www.here2hear.bravehost.com/ and am trying to get the following software: http://www.oscarmanual.org/oscar_emr_12 ... tion/12deb
installed onto linux mint. I also need to have the software set up on a server so it can be accessed from any pc within the work group. I & my colleagues having been trying for months to get this up and running but have had no success. If anyone would be willing to spare a little time to get this working for us through remote access (teamviewer) i would be extremely grateful.
Thanks

Hi Kyle, what seems to be causing you trouble in setting this up.

You'd likely get more help if you detailed the nature of the problem(s) you're encountering, rather than just say you've not been able to accomplish the installation.

That said, from your description you're trying to set up a server-based installation of this system, using directions that clearly state: "This basic install is adequate for a local install of OSCAR that cannot be accessed from outside of the computer that you are installing OSCAR on." (copied from the web page you cited in your original post, emphasis mine).
need I say more??
