Libre Office - cannot install extensions

Postby mychance » Sun Jun 24, 2012 7:54 pm

Hi,

I am still with Mint 11 and Libre Office 3.3.4 and each time I try to install an extension, I get an error message telling that "you write permission to install this extension". This happened with both Presentation Minimizer and Write2epub extensions. I have had permission problems with my home folder when I restored from a backup and had to give back permissions using sudo nautilus. In the same way I unlocked all the padlocks in the .libreoffice in the home folder but with no avail.

Any solutions ?

hmm maybe ... if it's a permission problem ..

open a shell // Term

sudo chown -R your username : your username /home/yourusername

if your username was mint it would look like

sudo chown -R mint:mint /home/mint

this will take ownership of all the files in your home dir..
