Hello i was wondering if anyone can tell how to safely setup my synaptic package manager. i mean
it works fine right now, but i have a lot of repositories selected as enabled, i want to know if it will hurt

I'd recommend unchecking "gusty-proposed". It's basically the testing branch of Gusty, it can possibly break your system.
"gusty-backports" is the where new packages go after they have been tested in proposed, I think most people use it without problems (I do.)
