Creating custom iso for live DVD

Postby vinoman » Sat Nov 03, 2012 9:56 am

Any suggestions for a program to create a custom live DVD from your existing Mint setup?

Here's some articles:

Wanted to create a live DVD with my Mint 13 Cinnamon setup to send to friends.

Looks like Remastersys and Reconstructor are popular. But neither of them is in Synaptic. What is the command to install from the correct repos?

This will help and explain.

Thanks, but how do I install it?

davek@dave-hpmint ~ $ sudo apt-get install remastersys
[sudo] password for davek:

Check your repo line, should'nt have # before deb.
