Translation-en keeps trying in updates and fails

On updating packages I always get "Failed" on a dozen or so of the translation-en from ubuntu sources.
Look at sources but doesn't seem to be an entry or fine tune unselect for translation-en from ubuntu sources?

No biggie I know it is 0 impact on system.
Just damn annoying visually and would like to have update ignore them if possible?

Thanks and any explanations why there like that would be helpful.

And which part of the vague guidelines are you applying to my situation?

I did search this forum and google on ""Failed on translation-en" and vague issues from improper sources to servers down.

My sources are clean I believe.

cat /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://packages.linuxmint.com/ nadia main upstream import
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ quantal-security main restricted universe multiverse
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu/ quantal partner
deb http://packages.medibuntu.org/ quantal free non-free

# deb http://archive.removed/ubuntu quantal-removed apps
# deb http://archive.removed/ubuntu quantal-removed games

So again what forum guidelines am I failing to meet to get a canned link response?

I have the same issue. It started when I was still using Mint 13. Now I am on Mint 14 (Cinnamon). Out-of-the-box installation. Ever since first update there are many packages that fail to be updated.
I have searched the forums over and over and found there may have been issues with the repositories, but a brand new installation should have this covered would it not?
I believe this is a generic issue, so specific details of the system being used are a bit redundant.

@Orbmisser, hope you don't mind me asking some additional questions in this post, as I think this could help us solve the issue better.

What could really help us out is to get help on:
- how to check if the sources.list file is correctly specifying all the sources
- how to get the most up-to-date sources.list life for a non modified installation
- how to find out which mirror is covering all repositories correctly?

Some pointers would be appreciated.
