pop up message: can't run epiphany

Postby roccop » Fri Dec 07, 2012 6:32 am

everytime I boot my Mint 14 (Mate - 64 bit) I have the following error message: "Impossible to run epiphany command. Please check if it's a valid command"
Who is epiphany? How can I delete this error message?

Epiphany is a web browser for gnome, see also http://projects.gnome.org/epiphany/

Epiphany is trying to autostart directly after boot, but can't, since, assumingly, you don't have it installed - hence the error message. I guess you should check your list of startup applications (or run -> 'mate-session-properties')

In the first days no problems after installation of Mint 14...
Now after boot and every 15/30 minutes I have always pop-up with warning message.
I never installed Epiphany by myself... probably the Mint Updater?
Where is Epiphany in my PC? Because I can't find in Menu or in mate-session-properties
Seems " someone" refeer to this application/service... WHO? :(
