Broken Packages

Postby sammi.sammi » Thu May 29, 2008 5:21 pm

Argh, I'm having another massive spazzy problem, now!

Mintupdate is telling me it can't install stuff, because I have to fix broken packages.
However, in Synaptic, there's nothing on the broken list. Can you give me some advice regarding where I'd find it, and how to solve the problem?

Ta

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get -f install

Try that, you might have do a reconfigure though.

It comes out with
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 872 not upgraded.

I don't know what you mean by reconfig, sorry!

Ah HA. Found the problem. I tried adding some Hardy repos in there, and it didn't like that. Any idea what hardy repos work?

What version of Mint are you using?
