Is there an easy way to install eclipse Europa via a script or something of that nature so all the right files get placed in all the right directories? I know I can simply unzip it and run but it won't be a proper install with all the right things in all the right places.
Btw, just installed mint and I'm very happy. I'm a java developer and the other distro's I tried (xubuntu, ubuntu, kubuntu) all crapped all over me when I tried to download and install the J2EE from the java website. And the java runtime wasn't the 1.6 version that I needed for development.
Cheers!

Isn't there an install script in the app?
Can you find it in the software portal or in Synaptic - that's the best way
