Hello,
I'd like to have multiple JDKs in the system, so that I could compile programs for Oracle and Open JREs at will. However, I've read that JDKs may conflict in a system, and that may lead to unexpected problems and crashes.
Is it so? I remember I've installed Oracle JDK/JRE alongside the Open one, and suffered no terrible consequences in a short term. Was I wrong? Is it safe to do?

Re: Multiple JDKs in system
Being a Java developer, and always having multiple JDKs installed, I can tell you that if you configured things properly, there is absolutely no reason to experience crashes or whatnot.
