Prevent Banshee from appearing in system tray after closing
After you close the Banshee player it will appear in system tray and you have to do one more step ( quit ) to actually close the player. Is there any way to prevent this behaviour ? I want the player to be closed after I pres X button, do not want it in tray. I was searching in player preferences, but couldn't find that option. I'm using 2.4 version installed with Software Manager.

Hitting, Media -> Quit or pressing Ctrl+Q should quit Banshee altogether.
I see you can also disable the notification area icon from Edit -> Preferences -> Extensions. That should allow the player to perform the expected behaviour when hitting the X Close button.
