Hello,
Is there any good alternatives for Windows Live Writer?

I've never used Windows Live Writer, or any other blogging tools, but I've heard a few people talking about Drivel. Search for it in the package manager. You might also try installing Windows Live Writer with wine to see if will run in Linux(not sure).

Try Flock. It's the "social networking" browser built off of Firefox. It's actually pretty cool. I'm using the 2.0 beta, and it's pretty slick. You can edit blogs online or offline, and then upload them to your blog of choice. Give it a spin. As I remember, Drivel's development has slowed or stopped, and it's not compatible with a few of the blog systems out there like Blogger or Wordpress.
